GERMANY 1

IACC GER 89

GERMANY 1 was built to take part in the first German campaign in the 156-year history of the America's Cup in 2007.

The perfect hull shape was determined using high-performance computers, laminated purely from carbon and "baked" in an oven under vacuum. The regatta yacht with the sail number GER 89 was christened in Kiel on 24.04.2006 by the wife of the Federal President, Luise Köhler.
