With Surge 62 AULIANA, designed by Javier Jaudenes, Knierim Yachtbau GmbH has created a state-of-the-art performance cruiser with impressive performance potential. The boat was tailored like a custom-made suit to meet all the requirements of an experienced owner.
Thanks to the hydraulic lifting keel and the twin rudder system, the yacht combines the requirements of a racing yacht with those of a touring yacht. Electrically operated winches enable both the owner and the ambitious regatta crew to carry out optimum trimming and agile maneuvers.
Powered by a 110 hp Yanmar engine with Saildrive and attached Integrel generator, state-of-the-art electrics and innovative battery management provide the required energy at all times.
The Marström carbon fiber rig with Reckmann furlers offers easy handling as a backstayless version and all the necessary trimming options thanks to the hydraulic adjustment of the foresail tension of the Doyle foresail.
The interior impresses with straight contours, a spacious saloon, a luxurious owner's cabin with en-suite bathroom and two sensationally spacious aft cabins.
