Pure performance, pure fun – guaranteed! P33 is an extremely fast 33 footer built by Knierim Yachtbau in Kiel, Germany, designed by judel/vrolijk for pure sailing performance regardless any rules.
The hull lines are developed according to the latest state-of-the-art in VPP and CFD technology. The result is impressive, the lightweight boat is accelerating immediately even in light air and achieves a maximum speed of over 20 knots.
P33’s large cockpit provides enough space for the crew to handle the boat easily. The deck equipment is well selected and the layout well-conceived. The carbon fiber rig with PBO standing rigging and angled spreaders does not need a backstay or runners.
The master plugs of the hull and deck moulds have been produced with Knierim Tooling’s 5-axle-milling-cutter to a precision of decimillimeters. Hull and deck are built in carbon sandwich technology using a GL approved epoxy resin system. The T-shaped stainless steel keel with GRP trailing edge and a milled lead bulb carries a ballast share of more than 50% giving the P33 an enormous stability.
